Exporting vehicle data helps workshops and importers follow up on activations, analyse connectivity status, and support proactive service planning.
The export function allows you to work with vehicle data outside ConnectedWorkshop for reporting or internal analysis.
What you can export
Using ConnectedWorkshop, you can export a list of vehicles associated with your workshop.
You can:
- Filter and sort vehicles using available data points
- Choose which information to include in the export
- Receive the file by email
The export can be generated as:
- CSV file
- Excel file
Step-by-step: Export vehicles
- Go to Vehicles
- Open ConnectedWorkshop
- Click Vehicles in the left-hand navigation:
Step 2 : Select the correct workshop
If you have access to more than one workshop:
- Click the wrench icon in the bottom-left corner
2. Select the workshop or workshops you want to export vehicles from
3. Confirm your selection:
The export will only include vehicles from the selected workshop(s).
Step 3: Start the export
- Click Export vehicles in the top-right corner
2. Choose which data fields you want to include in the export
3. Select the file format CSV Excel :
Step 4: Receive the file
- Click Export vehicles to confirm
- The file will be sent to the email address associated with your ConnectedWorkshop user account
Depending on the number of vehicles included, the export may take a few minutes. Large exports will take longer to process.
Good to know
- Only vehicles linked to the selected workshop(s) are included
- Exported data reflects the status at the time of processing, not real-time updates
- Access to export functionality depends on your user permissions
